Is Townsend, Tennessee a good place to live?

Townsend Evaluations It's a fairly amazing location to live. My parents and siblings still reside here, where I grew up. There isn't much to dislike about it. You don't have to deal with huge city traffic because it's remote and tranquil. The schools are great - all three of my children went through them and now they're out in the world doing successful things. The town itself is small but cozy. There aren't too many shops or restaurants, but then again we didn't need anything like that. This is rural Tennessee after all. There's plenty to do in the area if you get bored or need a change of pace. The price of living here is reasonable; my parents pay $400 for what would be considered a small apartment in most cities. Food is expensive but there are some great farm stands down the road from our house that sell delicious produce throughout the summer.

Overall, I think Townsend is a great place to live. It has a small-town atmosphere with big-city amenities (such as good schools and safe streets) available close by. If you can look past the lack of diversity (there's not a lot of variation between white people), then I think you'll love it here.
