How many days do you need to visit Tokyo Disneyland?

Tokyo Disneyland is at least a one-day park, and if you want to see everything, you'll need another half or full day. Tokyo DisneySea is a two-day park with plenty to keep you entertained for a third. We believe that arranging four park days is a good goal because the longest ticket you can get for the parks is four days. After three days, you will be charged an additional fee of about $60 for each day beyond three.

The best way to see everything at Tokyo DisneySea is to take advantage of its "summer hours" policy by visiting during off-peak times. These are defined as between January 8th and March 31st, and between 05:00 and 21:00 on all other days. During these periods, you can enter certain areas of the park for free.

If you only have time for one theme park, we recommend trying to make it Tokyo DisneySea. It has more attractions and characters, along with some unique experiences (such as dining at Turtle Cove).

However, if you have less than three days, we recommend making it Tokyo Disneyland. Its emphasis is on character visits and rides based on popular anime and manga, which are not available at DisneySea. Also, there are fewer opportunities to experience Disney's special effects when they are used in Japan vs. America - though this is changing now that Disney is building their own movie studio here.
