All guests over the age of 18 will be asked to provide their identity document (ID), passport, or equivalent acceptable identification such as a driver's license card for scanning when entering or departing the park beginning September 1, 2017.
Those under the age of 18 will not be allowed to enter the park without a parent or guardian. However, if you are able to prove your identity and age (ex: birth certificate, school report) we will issue you a pass to visit the park.
It is your responsibility to bring along your ID at all times while in the park. If you do not have access to your documents, they can be mailed to you upon exit from the park. There is a cost associated with printing and mailing documents.
If you lose your ID, you will need to contact the police station nearest to where the incident occurred for assistance in obtaining a copy of your ID page from our database. It may also be possible to obtain a copy from another citizen who has previously provided ID to you. This process can take up to seven days to complete.
In an emergency situation, you can use your cell phone to send us your ID number and the officer will respond to what appears to be an urgent matter.
Minors (under 16): original parent identification is required, and any youngster above the age of 13 must be present to sign the application form. The original and a certified copy of the birth certificate (full or abbreviated) or citizenship certificate are required. 2 passport photos.
Note: In order to ensure the safety of young travelers, some countries require an accompanying adult aged 21 years or older at time of travel when applying for a passport for a minor. You should always check with local authorities about what documents are required in your country.
The cost of a Namibia passport depends on where you apply and how long you wait. The fee covers the cost of labor and materials as well as the machine time needed to print the pages. It also includes access to visa services if applicable. Fees are $110 for a single-page application; $170 for double-page applications. An additional $30 fee is charged for mail-in passports.
Passports are mandatory for traveling within Namibia as well as to other African countries at least once every six months. Exemptions can be made for people who work for government agencies or foreign companies that operate in Namibia. Otherwise, everyone requires a passport to leave the country.
It usually takes 3 to 6 weeks to receive your passport after you have submitted it.
Access to the parks will be given only if you produce proper identification (ID/Passport) together with your new Wild Card or valid evidence of membership. A receipt, a voucher, a confirmation letter, or an application completion request sent within the last 45 days would be acceptable proof.
There are three ways to obtain a national park entry permit: through a tour operator, directly from National Parks Africa (the permit office), or online.
Tour operators can provide information on where to find a tour and what options are available. They can also make reservations for you and arrange transport to and from the park. You can identify a good tour operator by their presence at major tourism destinations such as airports or border crossings.
National Parks Africa is the official permit-issuing body for the parks. To apply for a permit, you need to complete an online form, which includes details about yourself and your group, as well as information on why you require a permit. Your form will then be reviewed by a ranger who will let you know if your request has been approved. If it has, they will send you an email containing your permit number. This must be shown when entering the park.
Visitors who want to enter one of South Africa's national parks without a guide must check in at the visitor center or another designated point before entering the park.
All Amtrak passengers must have their train tickets with them before boarding and while on board, since ticket checks are performed on a regular basis. All passengers over the age of 18 and all unaccompanied kids aged 15 and above must have a government-issued photo identification, such as a passport, driver's license, or military identification. The identification must be valid for travel within the United States and clearly show your full name and date of birth.
Amtrak does not require its passengers to carry passports but it is highly recommended because without one you will not be allowed on the train. Even though most trains are still operated by diesel engines, some routes have been upgraded to include electric locomotives that can provide more comfortable rides with less pollution. These newer trains also use LED lighting instead of traditional lights which make viewing maps and other devices easier during nighttime hours.
Amtrak offers a variety of products including food, drink, and entertainment options for everyone. There are three main types of seating on Amtrak trains: coach, sleeping car, and parlor car. Each type of seat has different amenities available depending on how much money you want to spend. For example, a first class ticket on some trains includes access to a private room with a bed, a dining car, and free wi-fi. A simple berth on other trains is just a bench with a seat cushion, but even those allow you to store your luggage underneath.
Visitors are welcome to see the site without the requirement for a passport or other required travel documentation. Birth and residence documentation are necessary (certified copy of birth certificate and approved state identification).
People can stay in Canada for 90 days without a visa if they have a valid passport, visa exemption card, or NEXUS card. If you do require a visa, there are three ways to get one: online, at a Canadian embassy or consulate office, or by mail.
Canadian citizens who are living in Canada but who have not yet obtained citizenship can apply for a temporary resident permit. This permit is usually granted for six months at a time and can be extended once by another six months. It is possible to request a renewal date up to eight months before your current permit expires.
In most cases, people will need to provide evidence of sufficient funds to support themselves while staying in Canada. If you cannot afford to pay for a hotel room, for example, you will not be allowed to stay.
It is also advisable to bring proof of health insurance with you when traveling outside of the country because emergency medical care is expensive. You may want to consider bringing along a letter from your doctor stating that you are fit for travel so that if you have an accident or get sick you will have this proof.
