Residents in India may now enroll in the Aadhaar Card program. OCI Cardholders who have lived in India for an extended period of time (more than 182 days in the twelve months before the date of application for enrollment) and have an Indian address can also apply for an Aadhaar Card in India. Once these two steps are completed, then the applicant's digital identity card will be sent to the provided email address within 72 hours.

The payment plan should include the following details: identification of the issuer of birth certificate or other identity document, name and address of the applicant, amount payable, date of commencement and termination of the plan.
